Created while preparing for the International Three-Country Pastry Competition. Perfection was never the goal. Progress was.
Behind every finished piece are broken sugar, repeated attempts and countless small adjustments.
Every curve, every flower and every blown and pulled sugar element taught me something about craftsmanship, technical skill, precision and, perhaps most importantly, patience.
Looking back today I can already see details I would approach differently, and that is a good thing. Growth comes from never being completely satisfied with yesterday's work.
